I have a little grunge book, which I take from time to time to sketch some ideas. Or just play. It was a Tupperware recipe book and is small and handy. I smear leftover paints in it, as I don’t like wasting paint. I also collect quotes I like in this little book.
The quote „A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend. A successfull woman is one who can find such a man. Lana Turner“
This quote fit so well into my little collage, it had to go there. Some things just never change…
I love this so much! I really love the figures on the right page especially and the bold colors! Very beautiful!
Hey Sweets, you are quick! I also love those figures, they are collaged, taken from a gift wrap and coloured with the background colour. I normally mix the colours more, but this time it just fit. Oh, thanks a lot for your comment.
I love that quote! 🙂
…and your page as well (how can I not?!)
Hab einen schoenen Tag, Gabriele 🙂
(btw, you might want to check your link on aimee’s blog – it doesn’t work)
Thanks for telling me, Jana, I check immediately.
sure – and now it does 🙂
Great quote! And I love the idea of a book to spread my leftover paint. I usually start a new page in my art journal with leftover paint. What exactly is a „grunge“ book?
Thank you Carly! Grunge book? I got the idea from a video from Anne Bagby, hers did not look grungy at all. I use it for everything, it is for my personal use. Here is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEeIOkvr_DU&feature=c4-overview&list=UUZDDpY_IGbNX7TmQogP_g4Q
Great page!
Thank you!
Here from GIT. Tee hee-love it!!
Thank you!
I love the quote and what a beautiful page for it! I love the contrasting blue and red along with the „rawness“ of the spread.
And what a wonderful way to use a Tupperware book! 😉
Thank you Betsy!
great quote from Lana. Love the symbols on the right – the spread fits so well together! {:-D
Thank you very much, Deb!
Love this. And what a brilliant idea to have a little book handy to use for leftover paint.
Thank you Deborah!
OK, that quote made me giggle… Happy „Glue it Tuesday“ on Wednesday 😉
Me too, thanks Marit!
Oh this female is so strong. Love her. The quotation cracks me up. I always tease my husband I should have married a „first husband“ first and then married him for love.
Thanks a lot!
I said wow and giggled at the same time! I’m drawn to the colors and images and the quote is priceless! I just love it!
Thank you very much!
I love your ideas and working on very small pieces! Now I know, what to do with all the instruction brochures of long lost devices. Waiting for the next page of your Grunge book!
