365 Somethings 2018 – Week one

What a challenge!! Creating a little piece of art every day! Sounds kind of impossible? After my first experience in 2013 with Daisy Yellows ICAD challenge which gave me an incredible energie boost I am more than ready to give it a try. Have a look at my previous go‘s on ICAD in 2013, 2014 and 2016. I am sure I can make it!! I linked to Hanna‘s blog, because I adore her collage work and will use a lot of collage too. Her blog has a lot of information and can tell you everything you need to know about this challenge.

Readers of my blog know, that I am struggling with cancer since 10 years. My last relapse was 1 year ago and it is bone cancer now. All the med. treatments kept me from blogging, I just felt too weak to be present in all social media and so I just limited it to some facebook action. But now I am ready for something bigger! 365somethings2018 might just be the right thing for me.

This year I will create ICADs, maybe some tags and a little self made journal, I already started. The cover is created from a canvas I already tossed, but I liked the material. It is nice and strong, wonderful for a cover.

I will post once a week and show 7 somethings – here is 1 – 7.

For the contents of the book I used geli prints, which make wonderful backgrounds. An ideal playground! I completed with collage elements, acrylic, pens, pencils, stamps…..

The most important step is made – I STARTED!!! Woooohooooo! It seems I gained energy already, so fast! How about you? Don‘t you want to join in? I hope you do!

See you next week creative friends!
