WOYWW 296

Hello there! Nice to see you for another WOYWW blog hop. We are visiting desks all over the world to spy what other people are doing (or not) 😉

At the moment there is not much on my desk, only sorting out my stencils. I have tons of them and use most of them. But you know how it goes, when you just have them piled up, sometimes they get tangled up with each other and might break. So I tucked them away in their pockets (some are missing, maybe threw them away) to protect them.

Only preparing some projects at the moment, so not much to show. Yes hearts might play a role in the game 🙂 . What else do I do? Walking the dog with my hubby. It is not exciting, no beaches, no palm trees, but Luna our Cavalier enjoys it. Most of the times we meet more dogs, but as it is quite cool, people rather stay home….

I am also participating in the art chain on Facebook, you know, where you show your works 5 days in a row and nominate someone each day. This is really fun and I am posting yesterday´s art journal page to brighten up dull winter days. It is all about feeding your MOJO! Don´t we all need that from time to time??

Joyful desk hopping! See you soon

Your photos are so beautiful (chilly but beautiful). It can be hard to find a good system of sorting stencils. They can so easily get tangled. I used to be very meticulous and wash each one after use. Now I only wash the ones i have used gesso. Learnt that the hard way. Have a lovely week.

I don’t use stencils very much because I don’t seem to have the knack of using them properly, lol! Best to take care of them though because it would be a shame to lose any! Have a great week & God bless!

    Happy Crafting!

PS: No, those aren’t sewing marks, they are part of the dies I was using. „Stitched dies“ seem to be all the rage right now and I have quite a few. I think it adds a nice, extra touch!

You made me giggle when you said „there is not much on my desk“, because to me, what you have there IS quite a lot! 😀 Maybe there is something wrong with my desk since it’s so clean…. I do try to clean up between projects I’m working on, and it’s been a few days since I made anything. You work on something every day, don’t you?
Anyway, I loved seeing the photos from your dog walking area – it looks really nice and dog friendly, no need to keep Luna on a leash. I bet that area looks very beautiful in the summer and fall.
Kiss on the nose to Luna from me. She’s so cute!! ❤

Don’t you just hate when your stencils get tangled up? Mine need sorting as well. I keep displacing them and it takes ages to find them at bottom of a paper pile. I suspect I might have even thrown out a couple with the recycling accidentally, eeks! Nice wintery shots with your doggie and a great journal page. Love the title – sounds so magical! Thanks for tagging me on Facebook as well! Happy WOYWW. zsuzsa @ InkyDinkyDoodle #34.

Looks like you have plenty of snow in your neck of the woods. It certainly looks chilly. I’ve been loving seeing all the artwork on FB, it certainly does cheer up the dark winter days.

I am behind on my art thing on FB. I need to find more photos of my stuff. I am not good at routine stuff, especially as I am back to work and back to school just recently and still trying to find my feet for the year. #56

Yes, it’s so annoying when stencils get tangled up and bend or break. Argh!
I loved watching your slide show of the dog walk. Luna is a beauty!
And your journal page certainly brightens up ones mood. I’m a bit in a Febuary slump….
Have a good week, hope the weather isn’t too bad,

I think your workdesk is showing a lot 🙂 LOL I always love to re-organise my craft & art supplies, it always gives me new inspiration and a kind of relax moment. Love seeing your foto’s of the doggie too. You have a very sweet dog! It is cold here to and tomorrow there was a lot of snow laying outside. Brrrr, I do not like snow and cold weater at all, but I do like your foto’s! Have a nice day.

Hi Gabriele, thanks for the visit. Love the snow pics, where would we be without our dogs to encourage us to go out walking. You see so many great things and meet lots of people. Hope you have a great crafty weekend, Angela x

Beautiful snowy pics, Gabriele. I broke one of my stencils cleaning it after I’d used it for the first time. Very annoying! Thank you for your lovely comment, and I know Mr. Mojo will return in time! I had some good news today that the scan showed that my cancer has not advanced beyond the bowel. I still have to have surgery obviously, and I may or may not need chemo, and if I do, it will be to prevent the cancer returning. After feeling highly elated at the news this a.m., I am now feeling quite exhausted! No dates yet, but I should be seeing the surgeon late next week, and the surgery shouldn’t be too far behind.

    Happy belated WOYWW,

I always see organizing and taking walks as a cleansing process that regenerates your creative juices. I love the bold colors and shapes in your art journal page. Was that photograph of the couple collaged taken in Latin America? Blessings!

That’s a fab journal page – such wonderful colours and so lively! I love the snowy scenery, it all looks so pretty, even though I don’t like going out in it – Lunar is very cute and looks like she has a nice thick furry coat for the cold weather! Thanks for stopping by my desk earlier, sorry I’m late in replying – hope you have a great week,
